New Delhi, Feb 13 (NationPress) Esteemed world leaders, including French President Emmanuel Macron, Brazil President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, and Greece Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, are poised to attend the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi from February 16–20, as announced by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday.

The summit is centered around three guiding principles: 'People, Planet, and Progress', reflecting India's commitment to collaboration in artificial intelligence, according to the MEA.

This event aims to unite global leaders, policymakers, innovators, and experts to discuss the future of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, several other dignitaries will also attend the AI Impact Summit, including Netherlands PM Dick Schoof, Sri Lanka President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Bhutan Prime Minister Tshering Tobgay, and Mauritius PM Navinchandra Ramgoolam.

Notable attendees also include Spain President Pedro Sanchez Perez-Castejon, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Croatia PM Andrej Plenkovic, Estonia President Alar Karis, Finland PM Petteri Orpo, Kazakhstan PM Olzhas Bektenov, Liechtenstein Hereditary Prince Alois, Slovakia President Peter Pellegrini, and Switzerland President Guy Parmelin.

Additionally, Bolivia Vice President Edmand Lara Montano, Guyana Vice President Bharrat Jagdeo, Serbia Vice President Aleksandar Vucic, and Seychelles VP Sebastien Pillay are also confirmed to participate in the New Delhi AI Summit.

The MEA has stated that ministerial delegations from over 45 countries will be present, along with the UN Secretary General and senior officials from various international organizations.

It was previously announced that French President Emmanuel Macron is set to arrive in India on February 17. During his official visit, discussions between Macron and PM Modi will focus on enhancing bilateral cooperation across a range of areas outlined in the Horizon 2047 Roadmap. Macron will participate in the AI Impact Summit on February 19.

Similarly, Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva will be in India for a state visit from February 18 to 22, participating in the summit from February 19-20.
