Lucknow, April 26 (NationPress) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is set to review the ongoing construction of the Ganga Expressway on Sunday, marking it as one of the most significant and ambitious infrastructure initiatives in the history of Uttar Pradesh, and a top priority for the state administration.
The inspection, originally planned for Monday (April 28), has been moved to Sunday. During his visit, the Chief Minister will assess progress across three pivotal districts -- Hardoi, Shahjahanpur, and Hapur.
The Yogi government is dedicated to elevating Uttar Pradesh to a forefront position in infrastructure, investment, and job creation. CM Yogi Adityanath is particularly focused on the Ganga Expressway project to ensure its prompt completion, aiming to maximize public advantage and stimulate regional growth.
During his inspection, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will commence at Chainage 62+200 in Alamnagar Bangar village (Garhmukteshwar tehsil, Hapur district), followed by Chainage 242+650 at Peeru village (Jalalabad tehsil, Shahjahanpur district) in the Budaun-Hardoi section, and concluding at Chainage 347+000 in Hasanpur Gopal village (Bilgram tehsil, Hardoi district) within the Hardoi-Unnao section.
As per the directives of Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar Singh, a detailed progress report for each site will be provided to the Chief Minister by the respective district authorities.
The Ganga Expressway, being developed by the Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA), will span nearly 600 kilometers, linking the western and eastern segments of the state from Meerut to Prayagraj.
