Youth Should Synchronize Ambitions with the Path to ‘Viksit Bharat’: Rajnath Singh

New Delhi, Jan 11 (NationPress) Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Saturday urged the youth to harness their potential and synchronize their ambitions with India’s vision of evolving into a ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.

Speaking at the convocation ceremony of IIMT University in Meerut, the Defence Minister emphasized the pivotal role that passionate, proactive young individuals can play in achieving the national ambition of transforming India into a developed nation.

“The aspirations, dedication, and thoughts of the youth will redefine India’s identity on the global stage,” he stated, highlighting that a nation’s strength is deeply rooted in the knowledge, skills, and resolve of its youth.

Referencing the saying, ‘Every generation has its own heroes’, Rajnath Singh portrayed the youth as the champions of the country’s future.

He encouraged the students present to recognize that the greatest asset of youth is their optimism, which empowers them to perceive opportunities within every challenge.

The Defence Minister noted India’s rising prominence on the international front under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stating, “Today, when India speaks, the entire world listens.”

He remarked that India has made significant advancements towards being a robust, secure, and self-sufficient nation, capable of producing cutting-edge defence equipment domestically and exporting it abroad. Furthermore, India has established itself as the third-largest start-up ecosystem globally, boasting over 100 unicorns, thereby shaping the future of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Stressing that the youth possess the capacity to elevate the nation to new heights, Rajnath Singh insisted that young individuals must optimize the plethora of opportunities available in the country, thanks to the government’s initiatives.

He advised the students to always keep three principles in mind when facing life’s challenges: faith in God, confidence in their own capabilities, and hope for favorable outcomes.

“Today, India is positioning itself as one of the most formidable nations. Our youth can represent the country with renewed confidence and vigor. If you have ideas and skills coupled with a strong work ethic, opportunities will abound. India is currently undergoing a transformation characterized by innovation and dynamism,” the Defence Minister conveyed to the students.
