Amaravati, Feb 19 (NationPress) The government of Andhra Pradesh is set to formalize agreements with various organizations and corporations aimed at enhancing the Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure and skill enhancement initiatives within the state at the ongoing India AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi.
One of the key agreements includes a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with IBM to deliver skills training in areas such as AI, quantum technology, and cybersecurity for one million young individuals in the state.
Additionally, an agreement will be reached with the United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC) to establish a Quantum and AI Centre of Excellence.
The state is also poised to sign an MoU with NIELIT, the skill development and capacity building division of the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITy), to create a Quantum AI University in Andhra Pradesh.
IIT Madras will join forces with the Andhra Pradesh government to launch an Artificial Intelligence Tutor initiative, while NVIDIA will collaborate in establishing AI Living Labs across the state.
As per an official statement, these MoUs are scheduled to be signed on Friday, witnessed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.
The Chief Minister will engage in discussions with industry leaders throughout the event.
According to the itinerary, the Chief Minister will depart for Jaipur on Thursday evening to attend the wedding of Kuppam Area Development Authority Project Director Vikas Marmat.
Following a night’s stay in Jaipur, he will arrive in Delhi on Friday morning and head to the summit venue at Bharat Mandapam.
He is expected to participate in a plenary session titled "AI Accelerators: Fueling India’s Economic Growth" alongside Assam Chief Minister Hemanta Biswa Sarma, Union Minister Jitin Prasada, and representatives from TCS.
Afterward, the Chief Minister will meet with Quantela Inc. Executive Chairman Sridhar Gadhi. He will also participate in a roundtable discussion organized by the World Economic Forum around the theme "Competitiveness through Artificial Intelligence", alongside Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and World Economic Forum CEO Borge Brende.
Additionally, the Chief Minister is scheduled to meet a delegation from the United Kingdom at the summit venue, engaging in discussions with UK Minister for AI and Online Safety Kanishka Narayan, UK High Commissioner to India Lindy Cameron, and Minister Counsellor for Climate, Science and Technology Sally Taylor regarding various collaborative initiatives.
Chief Minister Naidu will also conduct separate meetings with Aramco India Managing Director Abdulrahman AiTukair, Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen, and Autodesk AI Head Mike Haley.
