New Delhi, Aug 4 (NationPress) The Ayush Ministry has officially entered into two crucial Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the National Medicinal Plants Board (NMPB) to enhance the conservation and public awareness of medicinal plants across the nation.
The initial MoU involves a partnership between the NMPB and IshVed-Bioplants Venture based in Maharashtra. Additionally, a second tripartite MoU has been established among the NMPB, All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi.
“Our efforts today are inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision to create a healthier and self-sufficient India by 2047. I commend all institutions involved in these significant MoUs, marking a critical step in safeguarding and promoting India’s rich heritage of medicinal plants,” stated Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav.
