New Delhi, April 11 (IAN) Bhumi, a prominent non-profit organization in India focused on empowering youth and fostering social change, has teamed up with realme, the leading smartphone brand among Indian youth, to enhance its outreach via innovative educational and community development programs.

Recognizing the aspirations of young Indians, realme has consistently positioned itself at the crossroads of innovation and social impact.

This partnership aims to equip more young people with essential skills, resources, and opportunities to craft a brighter future.

As a result, Bhumi will be able to extend its support to a broader community, providing them with the necessary tools to forge a successful path ahead.

Through this collaboration, Bhumi will enhance key initiatives such as the Bhumi Fellowship, Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Programme, Schools of Excellence, Ignite Shelters, and Bhumi Clubs. These programs are tailored to improve education, leadership, and community participation, ensuring comprehensive development for underprivileged youth.

By supplying young individuals with the right tools, resources, and knowledge, realme is striving to cultivate a brighter and more inclusive future.

The Bhumi Fellowship is a distinct two-year paid initiative that empowers young changemakers to address educational disparities in low-income communities. Fellows engage directly in under-resourced government schools, teaching foundational skills, supporting educators, involving parents, and facilitating comprehensive school transformation.

Established by Bhumi, India’s largest youth volunteering organization, the Fellowship aims to develop a network of future leaders committed to systemic education reform.

Since its inception in 2020, the program has engaged 21 fellows, impacting 5,352 students. Currently, it involves 75 fellows, benefiting over 13,017 students, while continually nurturing alumni who drive change within the education sector.

Through immersive training, mentorship, and community involvement, the Bhumi Fellowship is not just transforming schools; it’s also cultivating the next generation of educational leaders.

The Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) Programme fosters emotional intelligence and resilience in students, equipping them with vital life skills.

Schools of Excellence aims to enhance educational environments by upgrading infrastructure, training teachers, and implementing innovative teaching methodologies. Ignite Shelters offers quality education and mentorship to children residing in shelter homes, while Bhumi Clubs promote volunteerism and leadership among students in educational institutions.

“At Bhumi, we believe in the transformative power of education, and with realme, we can elevate our mission significantly. With realme’s backing, we are amplifying our outreach and gaining remarkable momentum for our programs. Their strong connection with young India and dedication to social impact make this partnership truly revolutionary. Together, we are creating substantial opportunities for children and youth nationwide to learn, grow, and lead,” stated Vaishnavi Srinivasan, Executive Director of Bhumi.

“At realme, we perceive technology as a vital catalyst for change, not only in facilitating connections but also in enhancing growth, learning, and well-being. As a youth-focused tech brand, we feel it’s our duty to transcend innovation and play a proactive role in crafting a better future for upcoming generations. Our collaboration with Bhumi embodies this vision; empowering young individuals by providing access to education, skills, and opportunities that can genuinely transform their lives. We are honored to support Bhumi’s exceptional work and to partake in a mission that merges innovation with social impact,” remarked Tao Zhang, Chief Marketing Officer at realme India.

Through these initiatives, over 70,000 school children and 10,000 college students across India have gained access to quality education, crucial life skills, and leadership opportunities.

Together, Bhumi and realme reaffirm their dedication to social advancement, ensuring that education and youth empowerment remain central to building a more inclusive and equitable society.
