New Delhi, Feb 14 (NationPress) It was a privilege to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi, stated billionaire Elon Musk on Friday, following their meeting where they discussed a range of topics, including space, mobility, technology, and innovation.

“It was an honour to meet,” PM Modi remarked to Musk in a post on the social media platform X. Musk, who serves as an important advisor to US President Donald Trump, responded to the PM’s post after their encounter.

“I had a wonderful time meeting Elon Musk’s family and engaging in discussions on diverse subjects,” the PM noted.

“We explored various themes, particularly those Musk is passionate about, such as space, mobility, technology, and innovation. I elaborated on India’s initiatives aimed at reform and promoting ‘Minimum Government, Maximum Governance,” he continued.

The CEO of Tesla and SpaceX visited PM Modi on Thursday evening at the Blair House in Washington DC, as reported by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).

“PM Modi and Musk deliberated on enhancing collaboration between Indian and US organizations in the realms of innovation, space exploration, artificial intelligence, and sustainable development. Their dialogue also included opportunities to strengthen partnerships in emerging technologies, entrepreneurship, and effective governance,” the MEA statement indicated.

Musk attended the meeting along with family members, as per the report.

During this gathering, the PM also presented books to Elon Musk’s three children, gifting them The Crescent Moon by Rabindranath Tagore, The Great RK Narayan Collection, and Panchatantra by Pandit Vishnu Sharma. He later shared photos showcasing the children engrossed in reading.

In return, Musk gifted PM Modi a special item, believed to be a heat shield tile that was part of SpaceX’s Starship flight test 5, which occurred in October of the previous year. This item bore the engraving: “Starship flight test 5, October 12, 2024.”
