London, July 3 (NationPress) The 17-year-old Mirra Andreeva achieved a remarkable victory over Lucia Bronzetti from Italy in straight sets, securing her progression to the third round of the women's singles at Wimbledon 2025 at the All England Club on Thursday.
Seeded No. 7, Andreeva, who made history as the youngest player to win a WTA 1000 title in Dubai and followed it with another victory in Indian Wells, continued her impressive form by defeating Bronzetti with a score of 6-1, 7-6 (4) in the second round.
