Patna, March 2 (NationPress) The Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) has officially launched the men’s senior One-Day trophy on Sunday. This domestic tournament is set to feature teams from all over Bihar, providing players with an opportunity to demonstrate their abilities and compete at an elevated level.

Discussing the tournament, BCA President Rakesh Tiwari indicated that the selectors will be carefully observing the events to identify standout performances.

In this tournament, all districts in Bihar have been organized into eight zones: Western, Mithila, Shahabad, Magadh, Pataliputra, Angika, Central, and Seemanchal. During the initial phase, teams from each zone will face off against one another at the zonal level.

The opening match will feature East Champaran against Saran at JP Sinha Cricket Stadium, Vaishali.

In total, 72 matches will take place during this league stage, which will continue until March 13. Following this, the second phase will comprise quarter-finals, semi-finals, and the ultimate grand finale.
