BCA President Rakesh Tiwari Commends Bihar's Triumph Over Delhi in Vijay Hazare Trophy

Hyderabad, Dec 27 (NationPress) Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) president Rakesh Tiwari expressed his admiration for the Bihar team following their impressive win against Delhi in the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium.
Bihar triumphed over Delhi by 17 runs (VJD method) on Thursday. After electing to bat first, Bihar posted a score of 210/9 in 42 overs, with Bipin Saurabh contributing 37 runs off 16 balls and Raghuvendra Pratap scoring 52 runs off 48 balls.
President Tiwari extended his congratulations to both Pratap and Bipin for their remarkable performances, stating that this victory over Delhi would significantly uplift the morale of the Bihar squad.
"This triumph against a strong team like Delhi highlights the skill and resolve of our players. I sincerely congratulate Pratap and Bipin Saurabh for their exceptional contributions, as well as the entire team for their collective effort," Tiwari remarked.
"Victories like this not only enhance our confidence but also solidify Bihar's standing in domestic cricket. I believe this is merely the beginning of many more successes to come," he further added.
In pursuit of 211 runs, Delhi could only muster 109/5 in 24 overs before the game was interrupted. Consequently, Delhi fell short of the required score and lost by 17 runs. Pratap, who achieved a half-century, also took two wickets for Bihar.
"This is a significant milestone as we have succeeded against a tough team like Delhi. It boosts the spirit of the Bihar team, and I am pleased with my performance. The team atmosphere was excellent, and everyone adhered to the game plan," said Raghuvendra Pratap, who earned the title of Player of the Match.
"I am thrilled that Bihar performed well today. The support from every player was commendable, and the team spirit was very positive. Our victory was a result of our collective effort," added Bipin Saurabh.
Bihar is set to face Baroda on Tuesday at the same venue.
