Mumbai, March 20 (NationPress) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has declared a cash reward of Rs 58 crore for Team India following their victory in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025. This initiative is to honor the players, coaching staff, support personnel, and members of the selection committee.

India achieved a four-wicket victory over New Zealand in the final match on March 9, securing their third Champions Trophy title. This win comes as India's second ICC trophy within nine months, following their triumph at the 2024 T20 World Cup against South Africa.

Roger Binny, President of BCCI, stated, “Winning back-to-back ICC titles is remarkable, and this reward acknowledges Team India’s commitment and excellence on the international stage. Under the leadership of Rohit Sharma, the team delivered an outstanding performance throughout the tournament, beginning their journey with a six-wicket win over Bangladesh, followed by another six-wicket victory against Pakistan. They maintained their momentum with a 44-run win against New Zealand before edging out Australia by four wickets in the semifinals.
