Dubai, April 9 (NationPress) New Zealand stand-in captain Michael Bracewell has ascended into the top five of the ICC Men's All-Rounder Rankings after his team's triumph in the third ODI against Pakistan.

The 34-year-old played a pivotal role, scoring 85 runs, which included a remarkable half-century, during the final ODI of New Zealand's 3-0 series victory over Pakistan. His performance propelled him two positions higher, landing him in fifth place among all-rounders with 246 rating points, making him the highest-ranked Kiwi in this category, with teammate Mitchell Santner right behind him in sixth.

In this decisive ODI, coming in at number six, Bracewell's explosive 40-ball 59, featuring a four and two sixes, was instrumental as the Black Caps set a total of 264/8 in 42 overs.
