Coleman has captained the Toffees in 137 matches. After finalizing his new deal, the 36-year-old expressed his enthusiasm about continuing to wear the armband at the Club’s new Hill Dickinson Stadium. “I adore Everton, so being able to keep playing for this remarkable club is immensely significant for me and my family,” he stated.

“Thanks to the hard work of countless individuals, we’ve successfully transitioned to our stunning new stadium and are paving the way for a promising future under ambitious new ownership, which I am eager to be a part of,” Coleman commented to Evertonfc.com.
