Asha was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital the previous day. The announcement of her passing was made by Ashish Shelar, the Culture Minister of Maharashtra, outside the hospital. Her final rites are scheduled to take place at Shivaji Park on Monday at 4:00 pm.

Sachin, who had a personal connection with Asha Bhosle, posted a heartfelt tribute on social media, reflecting on how he will always cherish the legacy of the Padma Vibhushan awardee through her music.
