New Delhi, Dec 19 (NationPress) Dev Dutt has been officially designated as the selector for the Delhi Services team competing in the All India Civil Services Tournament.

Previously, Dev Dutt led the India Men's Deaf Cricket Team, which celebrated a remarkable victory during a three-match T20 series, showcasing strong performances against the Inclusive Warriors Deaf Dubai (IWDD) team at the DCS YOU SELECTS Arena in Sharjah. Along with Dev Dutt, Pawan Chauhan and Deepanshu have also been appointed as selectors.

The first match on December 11 saw the IDCA score an impressive 212 for 5 after opting to bat, while dismissing IWDD for 123 in just 17.2 overs, thereby clinching a commanding 89-run victory. Santosh Kumar Mahapatra earned the Player of the Match award for his significant contribution.

In the second T20 match on December 12, IWDD batted first, posting 134 for 8, but IDCA successfully chased the target, scoring 139 for 2 in only 11.3 overs to win by eight wickets. Santosh Kumar Mahapatra once again was honored with the Player of the Match award for his stellar performance.

The final T20 on December 13 followed a similar trend, with IDCA batting first to accumulate 187 for 4 after IWDD chose to field. The bowlers excelled, leading to IWDD being bowled out for 124 in 18 overs, resulting in a comfortable 63-run victory for IDCA. Virender Singh was awarded Player of the Match for his pivotal performance.

By the end of the series, Santosh Kumar Mahapatra was recognized as the Best Batsman, Virender Singh took home both the Best Bowler and Player of the Series awards, and Vaibhav Paranjpe was acknowledged as the Best Fielder, marking a dominant series for the IDCA Team.
