Phil Foden has signed a new four-year contract with Manchester City, committing his future to the club until 2030. The deal, confirmed on 22 July, ends speculation over the 26-year-old's future after his previous contract was set to expire next summer.

The Italian coach served as Guardiola's assistant during City's Treble-winning 2022-23 season — the campaign Foden himself credits as a high point.
