Noida, Dec 27 (NationPress) Gazab Ghaziabad showcased a remarkable all-around performance, overpowering Yamuna Yoddhas with a score of 56–28 on Day 3 of Season 2 in the Uttar Pradesh Kabaddi League (UPKL) held at the Noida Indoor Stadium on Saturday.

From the outset, Gazab Ghaziabad dominated the match, combining aggressive raiding with a solid defensive strategy to keep Yamuna Yoddhas under constant pressure. They quickly gained the upper hand, executing multiple all-outs that steadily increased their lead on the scoreboard.

Under the leadership of Captain Uday Dabas, who delivered an exceptional performance, Gazab orchestrated three all-outs during the match. One of the standout moments occurred when Dabas, despite being held by two defenders, pushed forward with tenacity, crossing the half line to complete the raid and eliminate the remaining players.

Uday Dabas concluded the match with an impressive 19 raid points, solidifying his status as the top performer. The Gazab defense was equally impressive, maintaining a compact and effective line that kept Yamuna’s raiders largely in check. By halftime, Gazab Ghaziabad had already established a substantial 30–12 lead and continued to dominate in the second half, extending their advantage with consistent raids and timely tackles to secure a comfortable victory.

Attending the match was Tusshar Kapoor, the co-owner of Gazab Ghaziabad, who showed his support at the Noida Indoor Stadium. In earlier matches on Friday, Awadh Ramdoots narrowly defeated Kanpur Warriors 35–34 in a thrilling contest that was undecided until the final raid. Kanpur Warriors led 17–15 at halftime, thanks to a late super raid by Sushant, but Awadh Ramdoots mounted a resilient comeback in the second half. Captain Abhimanyu Raghuvanshi spearheaded the fightback, while Awadh's defense stood strong under pressure to clinch a vital win.

In another match, Kashi Kings delivered one of the tournament's most dominant performances, defeating Ganga Kings from Mirzapur 52–30. Kashi Kings controlled the match, executing six all-outs and pulling away on the scoreboard. Raider of the Match Arjun Sirohi led the attack, while Best Defender Vipul Chaudhary effectively marshaled the defense.

Defending champions Lucknow Lions continued their powerful run with a convincing 40–21 victory over Purvanchal Panthers. Lucknow Lions set the tone early, with Arjun Deshwal initiating the match with a super raid, leading his team to a 20–8 halftime advantage. Although Purvanchal attempted to rally after the break, Lucknow countered effectively with four timely super tackles. Deshwal earned the title of Raider of the Match with nine raid points and three tackle points, while Mohd Aman was recognized as Defender of the Match with seven tackle points.
