Haryana Steelers Secure First Playoff Spot by Triumphing Over Bengaluru Bulls in PKL Season 11

Pune, Dec 11 (NationPress) The Haryana Steelers solidified their playoff position with a commanding 37-26 victory against the Bengaluru Bulls in Match 105 of the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 11, held at the Badminton Hall within the Balewadi Sports Complex on Wednesday.
This match showcased a remarkable team effort from the Haryana Steelers, as Vinay and Shivam Patare collaborated to score a total of 15 points. Additionally, both Jaideep and Rahul contributed with 4 tackle points each, while Mohammadreza Shadloui added 6 points, highlighting an all-around impressive performance.
The match commenced slowly, with raiders from both teams taking their time to establish their rhythm in the initial minutes. The defenders excelled during the do-or-die moments, maintaining the scoreboard. Sanjay and Rahul were instrumental for the Haryana Steelers defensively, securing a narrow one-point lead at 7-6 after the first quarter.
Mohammadreza Shadloui marked his presence by tackling Jatin, extending his team’s advantage to three points. Soon after, Pardeep Narwal countered, scoring his first points to keep the Bengaluru Bulls competitive. Nevertheless, Vinay executed a remarkable Super Raid, eliminating three opponents and broadening the lead for the Haryana Steelers.
Although the Bengaluru Bulls were already out of playoff contention, they exhibited their resilience. Jatin managed to score two points during a Do-or-Die Raid, reaching a significant milestone of 4000 raid points in PKL 11. Following a cautious first half, the halftime score stood at 15-11 in favor of the Haryana Steelers.
At the onset of the second half, the Steelers maintained control, nearly executing an All Out before Parteek launched a Super Raid for the Bengaluru Bulls. Eventually, the Haryana Steelers did achieve the All Out, increasing their lead to nine points and taking a substantial step towards securing their playoff spot.
Ajinkya Pawar showcased excellent skill with a Super Raid, but it was too late for the Bengaluru Bulls to mount a comeback. Sushil closed the match positively for the Bulls, scoring a couple of raid points and making a tackle. Ultimately, the Haryana Steelers triumphed with a score of 37-26, becoming the first team to secure their place in the playoffs.
