Jalandhar, Aug 16 (NationPress) Chandigarh, Jammu & Kashmir, and Delhi triumphed in their respective Division ‘B’ encounters, while Karnataka, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, and Punjab emerged victorious in Division ‘A’ on the fifth day of the 15th Hockey India Junior Men National Championship. A total of three matches in Division 'B' and four in Division 'A' were contested at the Surjit Singh Hockey Stadium this Saturday.

The day's first Division ‘B’ clash saw Hockey Himachal suffer a defeat against Hockey Chandigarh with a score of 3-5. Notably, Gurjeet Singh netted four of the five goals for Hockey Chandigarh (35’, 48’, 51’, 56’), while Sharandeep Singh added another (23’). For Hockey Himachal, Anubhav Rangra (52’), Anuj (6’), and Tanish Kumar (39’) each contributed one goal.

The following match was a nail-biter, with Jammu & Kashmir edging out Hockey Arunachal 5-4 in a dramatic finish.
