Mumbai, April 16 (NationPress) The Indian pair of Arjun Singh and Aditya Singh proudly secured the gold medal in the Men’s Doubles 5.0 category at the 2026 US Open Pickleball Championship, marking a significant milestone in their international journey.
The duo overcame their opponents, J Meode and W Lin, with a score of 9-11, 11-2, 11-7, demonstrating resilience by bouncing back after losing the first game to clinch another prestigious title.
In a commendable display, Panth Thakkar and Atharva Sheth earned the silver medal in the Men’s Doubles 4.5 category. They fought valiantly but were narrowly defeated by Caian Appel and Michael Van Dusen, with scores of 8-11, 9-11 in a tightly contested match.
Taking place in Naples, Florida, this championship represents India’s inaugural participation under the banner of the Indian Pickleball Association (IPA).

This victory signifies Arjun's third gold medal at the US Open Pickleball Championship and his second with his brother Aditya.
Currently, India’s medal tally at the US Open 2026 stands at six, comprising four golds won by Arjun Singh and the duo of Arjun and Aditya Singh in the Men’s Doubles, along with one silver and one bronze earned by Panth Thakkar and Atharva Sheth, and Naga Moksha respectively.
