New Delhi, April 15 (NationPress) India is scheduled to visit Bangladesh for a white-ball series that includes three ODIs and three T20Is, taking place from August 17 to 31 in Mirpur and Chattogram, as announced by the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday.
The Indian squad will reach Dhaka on August 13, ahead of the series opener on August 17 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur. The final ODI will occur in Chattogram, which will also be the venue for the first T20I match on August 26. The subsequent T20Is will return to Mirpur.
This tour will be India's first exclusively white-ball visit to Bangladesh since 2014. Additionally, the T20I series marks the inaugural occasion Bangladesh will host India for a bilateral series on home soil. The last T20I series between these two sides occurred in 2024, where Bangladesh toured India and the hosts achieved a convincing 3-0 victory.
Regarding the forthcoming series, BCB's chief executive Nizam Uddin Chowdhury expressed his enthusiasm about hosting one of the premier cricket teams globally.
