Dhaka, Jan 2 (NationPress) The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) announced on Friday that India's men's white-ball tour to Bangladesh is now featured in its schedule for international matches in 2026. This calendar also includes Bangladesh hosting Pakistan, New Zealand, Australia, and the West Indies for bilateral series across all formats.

“This confirmed itinerary guarantees a season brimming with international cricket in Bangladesh, allowing fans throughout the nation to witness world-class cricket right at home. Match venue details will be revealed in due course,” stated the BCB.

Originally slated for August 2025, India’s tour has shifted to September 2026 due to ongoing political unrest in the country. According to the BCB's itinerary, India will arrive in Bangladesh on August 28.

The ODI series is set to kick off on September 1 with the first match, followed by the second game on September 3 and the third clash on September 6. The T20I series will start on September 9, with the second match on September 12 and the final game on September 13, after which the Indian squad will return home.

Pakistan will visit Bangladesh on March 9 for a three-match ODI series scheduled from March 12-16. Following this, New Zealand will begin its white-ball tour on April 17 with three ODIs, and three T20Is starting on April 27 through May 2.

Pakistan will then return on May 4 for two Test matches as part of the ICC World Test Championship cycle. The first Test is set for May 8-12, and the second for May 16-20. Australia’s white-ball tour will commence on June 5 with three ODIs, followed by a three-match T20I series from June 15-20.

After hosting India, Bangladesh will face the West Indies in a two-match Test series, also part of the WTC cycle. A three-day warm-up match will take place from October 22-24, with the first Test scheduled for October 28-November 1, and the second from November 5-9.

The BCB has also indicated that the Sri Lanka ‘A’ team will tour Bangladesh in May 2026 for a series against the hosts’ A team, which will include two four-day matches and 50-over games.
