Mumbai, March 10 (NationPress) The Weekend Horse Show No.3, hosted by the Amateur Riders’ Club (ARC), took place at the renowned Mahalaxmi racecourse in Mumbai on Sunday. On the event's second day, Ira Teny clinched the top spot in Showjumping (70cm-80cm) aboard her horse ‘Knighthood’.
The ARC's Weekend Horse Show fosters a positive and competitive environment for riders of all ages to demonstrate their abilities in various equestrian disciplines. The event was filled with exhilarating competition, outstanding horsemanship, and a tribute to the unique bond between humans and horses.
In the Show Jumping (70cm-80cm) category, Ira Teny achieved first place on Knighthood. Riditraj Deora took second place with Roxy, while two riders shared the third position: Varun Padwal on Pearl and Jethu Singh riding Farahnoush.
Commenting on her success, 13-year-old Ira Teny expressed, “I’m incredibly happy and inspired by my win. Knighthood and I are a fantastic team, and everything fell into place perfectly.
“I want to extend my gratitude to my coaches, Bobin Sir and Mitesh Sir, for not only training me but also instilling confidence in me. They continually encourage me to excel and overcome my fears. I am truly thankful for their guidance and look forward to improving my skills in this sport.
“I’ve been riding at ARC for just over a year now. I enjoy spending time with the horses and learning from other riders,” she shared.
