This remarkable achievement marks Ishpreet's first maximum break in an open tournament, positioning him as the third Indian to reach this milestone after legendary players Geet Sethi (Gujarat) and Aditya Mehta (Mumbai). Sethi accomplished his 147 during the 1988 Guntur Nationals, while Mehta achieved the same in 2013 during the Asian Games selection tournament in Bangalore and again in a subsequent tournament in Germany.
