Bhubaneswar, Sep 16 (NationPress) The Kalinga Lancers have officially announced the appointment of Australian hockey legend Jay Stacy as their new head coach, just in time for the upcoming season of the Hockey India League.
Stacy, who has an impressive record of representing Australia in 321 international matches and participating in four Olympic Games, securing three medals in 1992, 1996, and 2000, succeeds German coach Valentin Altenburg, who previously guided the team.
"I am thrilled to embark on this new journey with Vedanta Kalinga Lancers and to return to the Hockey India League, which has significantly evolved since my last involvement.
