Kochi, June 2 (NationPress) Kerala Blasters Football Club has officially announced the acquisition of right-back Amey Ranawade on a five-year contract, securing his services until May 2030. The 27-year-old player transitions from Odisha FC, where he wrapped up the 2024-25 Indian Super League (ISL) season on loan from Mumbai City FC. This marks the Blasters' inaugural signing of the season.

Last season, Ranawade made a substantial impact, participating in 22 ISL matches, starting in 18, and accumulating 1,675 minutes on the pitch. His offensive skills were complemented by solid defensive performances, winning 48 duels, executing 20 successful tackles, and achieving 49 recoveries while creating 16 chances.
During the 2023–24 season, he contributed to seven goals from the backline. His speed, endurance, and accurate crosses continually enhanced Odisha’s offensive play while ensuring strong defensive displays. He played a crucial role in Odisha FC’s remarkable journey to the ISL playoffs in 2023-24.
