This event is aimed at under-25 athletes and follows the under-18 Khelo India Youth Games held in Bihar last May. During the KIUG 2024, a total of eight records were established in athletics, five of which were set by male competitors. “Globally, university students excel in multi-sport events. In Rajasthan, we anticipate remarkable performances as athletes are expected to be in peak condition,” added Mandaviya.
