Jhansi, April 13 (NationPress) Hockey Madhya Pradesh and Hockey Punjab triumphed in their respective Semi-Final encounters during the 15th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2025 held in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh, positioning themselves just one step away from claiming the prestigious title.

In the first Semi-Final bout, Hockey Madhya Pradesh overcame Manipur Hockey with a score of 5-3, securing a place in the finals. Captain Yousuf Affan (5’, 34’) and Ali Ahmad (7’, 15’) netted two goals each for Hockey Madhya Pradesh, complemented by a goal from Mohammad Zaid Khan (49’). For Manipur Hockey, Moirangthem Rabichandra Singh (47’), Captain Chinglensana Singh Kangujam (50’), and Laishram Dipu Singh (53’) found the net.

In the second Semi-Final, Hockey Punjab edged out Uttar Pradesh Hockey in a nail-biting match with a score of 4-3.
