Jhansi (U.P.), April 10 (NationPress) Hockey Madhya Pradesh and Hockey Karnataka both enjoyed victories in their matches, securing spots in the quarterfinals on Day 7 of the 15th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2025 held here on Thursday.
Hockey Madhya Pradesh triumphed over Hockey Punjab with a score of 3-2, while Karnataka also claimed victory against Le Puducherry Hockey by the same score. In another match that day, Hockey Maharashtra overcame Hockey Jharkhand 4-3, and Hockey Association of Tamil Nadu drew with Hockey Bengal, but still managed to qualify for the quarterfinals.
The upcoming quarterfinal matches on Saturday will see Hockey Madhya Pradesh face off against Hockey Maharashtra, while Manipur will challenge Tamil Nadu. Haryana is set to compete against Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh Hockey will go up against Hockey Karnataka in the final quarterfinal clash.
