Jhansi, April 7 (NationPress) Hockey Jammu & Kashmir, Chhattisgarh Hockey, and Hockey Association of Bihar celebrated victories in Division C, while Hockey Chandigarh and Hockey Uttarakhand triumphed in Division B during the fourth day of the 15th Hockey India Senior Men National Championship 2025 in Jhansi.
With this, the Division C matches have concluded, and Hockey Arunachal and Chhattisgarh Hockey emerged at the top of their pools, securing seven and nine points respectively, thereby earning promotion to Division B for the upcoming edition.
The day's action kicked off with a 2-2 draw between Hockey Raj and Hockey Arunachal Pradesh in Pool A of Division C. Abhinav Singh (29’) initiated the scoring for Arunachal Pradesh, but Hockey Raj responded with two quick goals from Vishal Kumar (42’) and Pulkit Kesari (46’). In a thrilling fourth quarter, Jay Prakash Patel (59’) netted a vital equalizer for Hockey Arunachal to finish the tournament at the top of the table.
In the same pool of Division C, Hockey Jammu & Kashmir delivered a commanding 15-1 victory against Tripura Hockey.
