Odegaard Declares Arsenal's Determination to Achieve Everything

London, Dec 1 (NationPress) Arsenal’s quest for their first Premier League title since 2004 has encountered significant challenges in recent weeks as they currently occupy third place, trailing league leaders Liverpool by six points, who also have a game in hand. The team is further hindered by injuries.
As the Gunners prepare for their UEFA Champions League match on Thursday (IST), club captain Martin Odegaard addressed the media, emphasizing his team’s strong mindset, asserting that they aspire to win every title they compete for.
"If you achieve that, then everyone will remember you because you make history, and I believe that's the sentiment shared by everyone in the squad. We aim to accomplish something truly exceptional. We want to win everything—that’s the mentality of all of us. We strive to secure trophies and aim for victory in every match we play; this is a shared belief among the team," Odegaard stated during the press conference.
Arsenal’s upcoming match against Monaco is crucial for the North London club as they seek to secure a top-eight position, which guarantees direct qualification to the Round of 16 in their last three League stage matches.
The Gunners have narrowly lost the League title to Manchester City for two consecutive seasons, but Odegaard is confident that his team has learned valuable lessons from their painful near-miss. "That’s the atmosphere within the squad. Everyone has immense faith in what we are doing, and we hold confidence in our collective efforts. Last year, we gained some important insights—we aspired to go all the way and fell short. We must take those lessons to improve and enhance our performance," he added.
In their last two fixtures, the Gunners have not scored from open play, managing to net three goals from set-pieces against Manchester United and Fulham. Mikel Arteta also contributed to the press conference when questioned about the necessity to generate more goal-scoring chances. "We aim to create more opportunities from every angle, and we could have generated more from set pieces as well; we should have netted another one or two. We are constantly striving to evolve and improve," Arteta remarked.
