New Delhi, April 29 (NationPress) The Under-19 Boys and Girls Kho Kho Championship, a significant highlight of the 68th National School Games, is scheduled to take place at Thyagraj Stadium in New Delhi from April 29 to May 3. This event, organized by the Delhi administration under the auspices of the School Games Federation of India (SGFI), will showcase intense competition among 30 boys’ and 30 girls’ Kho Kho teams from all across the nation.
In a remarkable development, this championship marks the first occasion in the history of the National School Games where six out of the eight Kho Kho courts are mat courts, a pivotal advancement aimed at elevating the playing standards while ensuring enhanced safety for young competitors.
Additionally, the event will witness teams from government schools representing their respective states, including Maharashtra, Kerala, Haryana, Assam, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan.
