Hosur, Aug 18 (NationPress) The Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI), the governing body for professional golf in India, has officially announced the commencement of the PGTI Players Championship. This esteemed event is set to take place at the Clover Greens Golf Course & Resort located near Hosur in the Krishnagiri District of Tamil Nadu from August 19-22.
This championship features a substantial prize purse of Rs 1 crore, marking PGTI's inaugural event at the Clover Greens venue.
Among the prominent Indian professionals participating are the current 2025 PGTI Order of Merit leader Yuvraj Sandhu, Angad Cheema, Olympian Udayan Mane, Om Prakash Chouhan, Manu Gandas, and Arjun Prasad, among others.
Notable international competitors include N Thangaraja and K Prabagaran from Sri Lanka, Jamal Hossain and Badal Hossain from Bangladesh, Federico Zucchetti from Italy, Stepan Danek from Czechia, as well as Sukra Bahadur Rai and Subash Tamang from Nepal, and Joshua Seale from Uganda.

The Clover Greens Golfscapes is an 18-hole championship golf course designed to offer an elevated golfing experience for both seasoned professionals and emerging golfers. Set in breathtaking natural surroundings, half of the course weaves around a massive rock outcrop, providing ample obstacles, opportunities, and visual delights.
