Pune, March 12 (NationPress) - Both Pune and Satara clinched their spots in the semifinals of the Junior Category, achieving a perfect record (9 points) in their respective groups during the Asmita Hockey State League held at the Major Dhyanchand Hockey Stadium, Nehrunagar-Pimpri, on Wednesday. Joining them in the semifinals are Kolhapur (4 points) and Mumbai City (6 points).

On Day 6, Pune showcased dominance in Group B, overpowering Ahmednagar with a staggering 15-0 scoreline. The scoring spree was led by Tanushree Kadu with four goals (2’, 22’, 43’, 49’), followed by Sanika Mane with three goals (4’, 7’, 52’) and Sanjana Khetawat contributing three as well (6’, 13’, 14’). Other contributors included Siddhi Gawali (30’), Sayama Tamboli (39’), a double by Sneha Bendre (45’, 51’), and a goal from Sukanya Daware (59’).
