The event, which wrapped up at the Meco Kartopia circuit this past Sunday, was proudly presented by SIDVIN Energy Engineering and partnered with MRF Tyres.
A standout performance came from Rivaan Dev Preetham, a talented schoolboy from Chennai representing MSPORT. He dominated the Mini Max category, securing the top spot in all sessions, including two Heats, the Pre-Final, and the Finals. Rivaan now leads Yatharth Gaur from Faridabad by 32 points, holding a strong position on the leaderboard. Additionally, he set a new track lap record of 57.991 seconds on the 1.2 km circuit during the Pre-Finals.
In the Senior Max category, Krish Gupta triumphed against strong competition, including championship leader Ishaan Madesh from Bengaluru, who finished fourth. Starting from fifth on the grid, Krish's impressive maneuvering earned him vital points. Arjun Vijay Chheda from Pune finished in P2, while Aahil Mecklai from Mumbai rounded out the podium in a thrilling race.
Despite dominating earlier in the event by winning both Heats and the Pre-Finals, Ishaan Madesh faced an unfortunate incident during the Finals, resulting in a fourth-place finish. Nevertheless, he remains at the top of the points table, with a slim two-point lead over Arjun Vijay Chheda.
In the Junior class, Arafath Sheikh from Pune showcased his skills by winning both the Finals and the Pre-Final, reinforcing his dominance. Similarly, Shiv Tummala from Bengaluru proved his mettle in the Micro Max category.
This round propelled Arafath to within 30 points of the leader, Eshanth Vengatesan from Chennai, who finished fourth in the Pre-Finals and fifth in the Finals. Currently, Shonal Kunimal from Kozhikode sits second in the points standings.
The top contenders, Rivaan Dev Preetham (Mini Max), Eshanth Vengatesan (Junior Max), and Ishaan Madesh (Senior Max), have all been selected for the RMC Grand Finals scheduled to take place at the Shakir Circuit in Bahrain from November 29 to December 6.
