Abu Dhabi, Sep 8 (NationPress) AKCEL GP Academy has unveiled an exciting roster of emerging talents set to participate in the 2025/26 Rotax Max and IAME UAE Karting Championships as they kick off their inaugural season. This impressive group includes Atiqa Asif Mir, Rivaan Dev Preetham, Rehan Khan Rasheed, Ridhaan A, Krishay Gutte, and Jagrat Detroja from India, along with Brando Londono from Canada and Linas Volungevicius from Lithuania.
Leading the pack, Atiqa Mir has made history as the first Indian to achieve a top-10 finish at the Rotax Euro Trophy. Rivaan Dev Preetham, a two-time national champion, made a remarkable mark as India’s first race winner at the FIA Motorsport Games, concluding the 2024 season ranked World No. 8.
Jagrat Detroja also made headlines in Valencia, clinching pole position and securing a 5th place finish overall. The next generation of Indian talent includes Rehan Khan Rasheed, who holds the fastest laps across all three FMSCI-homologated tracks in Micro Max, and 11-year-old Ridhaan A, who made a splash by breaking into the top six of the National Karting Championship in his debut. Krishay Gutte further adds to the mix with consistent performances throughout Asia and the UAE.
On the global stage, Brando Londono, Canada’s most-followed young racer, brings valuable experience from the FIA European Karting Championship and is gearing up for a transition to Formula 4. Linas Volungevicius, a front-runner in the Rotax Latvia and Lithuania Championships, made an impression with a top-10 finish at the FIA Motorsport Games. Together, these eight drivers represent a bold and ambitious team poised to make waves on the UAE karting circuit.
