Dubai, March 9 (NationPress) India has clinched their third title in the 2025 Champions Trophy with a commanding victory against New Zealand in the final, completing the tournament without suffering a single defeat. Renowned cricket figures have showered praise on Rohit Sharma and his team for their unwavering and stellar performances in recent ICC events.
Former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh remarked that the captain might possess the Midas touch in ICC white-ball tournaments.

This marked India’s fourth appearance in the finals of ICC events in two years under Rohit’s captaincy and their second victory after winning the 2024 T20 World Cup. It is also India’s third Champions Trophy title, having previously won in 2002 (shared with Sri Lanka) and 2013.
The 2025 Champions Trophy was Pakistan’s first home tournament in 29 years, but the hosts were disappointingly eliminated in the group stage following defeats against India and New Zealand. Legends from the host nation also took a moment to recognize India’s supremacy in the tournament.
