Mumbai, April 11 (NationPress) Rugby India has officially declared that the 12th Senior Rugby National Championships 2025 will take place from April 23 to 29 at the renowned Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium in Guwahati. This highly anticipated national championship will showcase over 600 athletes from 26 states across both men's and women's categories.
The event in Assam represents a significant milestone in the sport's history, as it will be the first time this flagship competition is hosted in the North East of India, contributing to the enhancement of rugby in the region.

The senior women’s championship is scheduled for April 23 and 24, while the men's championship will be held on April 27 and 28. Defending champions include Odisha in the women’s division and Haryana in the men’s.
