New Delhi, Oct 1 (NationPress) Sahastra Seema Bal and Tamil Nadu Police achieved impressive wins in their respective matches on the final day of the pool stage during the 5th Hockey India Senior Women Inter-Department National Championship 2025 at Shivaji Stadium here on Wednesday.
In the opening match of the day, Sahastra Seema Bal took down UCO Bank Women’s Hockey Academy with a resounding score of 10-2 in Pool C. Manisha was the star of the match, netting a remarkable hat-trick (29’, 41’, 47’), supported by her teammate Roshni Dungdung who added two goals (39’, 56’).
Other contributors included Priti Singh (21’), Preeti (23’), Sonia (25’), Ranjita Minj (56’), and Mukta Mundu (57’), each scoring once to secure a dominant victory. On the opposing side, Kirti (30’) and Captain Ankita Dahiya (52’) managed to find the net for UCO Bank Women’s Hockey Academy.
