Panchkula, March 2 (NationPress) The second day of the 15th Hockey India Senior Women National Championship, hosted at the Tau Devi Lal Hockey Stadium, Panchkula, witnessed victories for Telangana Hockey and Delhi Hockey in Division B, while Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu Hockey triumphed in their Division C match.

In Pool A of Division B, Telangana Hockey commenced their journey with a strong 3-1 victory over Assam Hockey. Assam Hockey made an early impact with a remarkable field goal by Captain Munmuni Das (14’), but Telangana Hockey responded swiftly with three rapid goals in the second quarter from Prativa Kindo (23’), Sumi Mundari (26’), and Pooja Rathod (28’) to secure the win.

In the next Division B matchup, Delhi Hockey continued their winning momentum, narrowly defeating Hockey Himachal 1-0 in Pool B. Neha (14’) scored the only goal of the match by converting a penalty corner in the first quarter. The steadfast defense of Delhi Hockey throughout the subsequent three quarters guaranteed them the victory and preserved their winning streak.
