New Delhi, Sep 14 (NationPress) Left-arm spinner J Suchith, opener Prashant Chopra, and batter Bhupen Lalwani are set to represent Uttarakhand in the upcoming 2025-26 domestic season. All three players will kick off their journey with the new state by participating in the Uttarakhand Premier League.
Suchith, who previously played for Karnataka before joining Nagaland, embarked on his domestic career in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in April 2014. He later made his List A and first-class debuts. In the 2024-25 season, he played for Nagaland and made a significant mark by becoming the highest wicket-taker in the Plate group, claiming 43 wickets in just six first-class matches.
Chopra debuted at the young age of 18 for Himachal Pradesh in the Vijay Hazare Trophy back in February 2011 and has remained a key player for them. In the last season, he amassed 386 runs in seven first-class matches, highlighted by a remarkable 171-run innings against Uttarakhand.
