Mumbai, Nov 5 (NationPress) On this auspicious day of Guru Nanak Jayanti, celebrated on Wednesday, the esteemed actor Anupam Kher shared a moving note brimming with warm wishes.

Anupam took to Instagram to post a video of himself praying at the Golden Temple located in Amritsar.

He captioned the post: “Warm greetings and best wishes to everyone on the occasion of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Jayanti! Wishing everyone a Happy Guru Nanak Dev Jayanti!”

The celebration of Guru Nanak Gurpurab marks the birth of the first Sikh guru, Guru Nanak. He is one of the most significant and cherished Sikh gurus and the founder of Sikhism, holding a revered place in the hearts of the Sikh community.

In another interesting update, Anupam recently honored Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan on his milestone 60th birthday by recreating his famous look from the 2000 classic film Mohabbatein.

The actor shared a clip of himself donning a maroon sweater akin to the one worn by Shah Rukh in “Mohabbatein.”

Alongside the video, he expressed, “Happy landmark Birthday my dearest #Shahrukh!! May God bless you with endless happiness, a long and healthy life! Knowing you is a true joy! In the video, Anupam Kher conveyed, “My dear Shahrukh, many congratulations on your birthday. May God keep you very happy. May you have good health and a long life. May all the joy and peace of the world embrace you. I initially thought about calling you, but so many memories compelled me to make this video. It’s a significant birthday for you—your 60th.”

“No one knows. You’re not even 16 yet you’ve reached 60. You’re a decade younger than me. It’s nice to say that at this age. When we worked in ‘Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge,’ I think I was 35. No, I was 45. No, 35, 45, something along those lines. But I’ve always been meant to play fathers. And you will eternally play sons, son-in-laws, and younger brothers for the rest of your life. Even when you are 100 years old. Some people are just like that. You are a remarkable person, a great human being, and full of love.”

The 70-year-old actor continued, “Recently, we were at the Filmfare Awards together. The pictures were taken in slightly dim light. You suggested to Pooja to take it in a brighter light. It struck me how you haven’t changed at all. We don’t see each other often, but I would love to meet you.”

“However, I believe the magic lies in our limited meetings. We haven’t done a film together in the last 15-20 years. After Happy New Year, I haven’t been in any of your films. I used to feel disappointed about it. Why haven’t we collaborated? But then I realize the magic we created together in Dilwale, Dulhania Le Jayenge. The magic of the 90s is something unique that cannot be replicated.”
