Amaravati, Jan 15 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, N Chandrababu Naidu, announced on Thursday that the P-4 programme has been launched by the state government to tackle economic disparities by supporting the underprivileged in achieving their aspirations and financial advancement.
Highlighting the urgency in addressing economic disparities, he emphasized the government’s commitment to uplift marginalized communities, ensuring equitable opportunities for everyone to create a prosperous, healthy, and joyful society.
During a press conference in his hometown, Naravaripalle, located in the Tirupati district, he spoke after enjoying Sankranti festivities with his family.
The Chief Minister reiterated the importance of safeguarding cultural heritage and traditions through communal celebrations. "Festivals bring immense joy to all," he remarked.
In extending his greetings for Sankranti and Kanuma, the Chief Minister declared plans to develop Tirupati into a prime wedding destination by enhancing the aesthetics of the city’s water bodies. He also mentioned the development of homestays.
Additionally, Naidu stated that Visakhapatnam and Amaravati would be transformed into major urban centers.
The government aims to finish land surveys by 2027, ensuring the distribution of pattadar passbooks that will bear the government seal and QR codes.
He noted the success of the Sanjeevani health initiative, initially launched in Kuppam, which will now be rolled out statewide.
Health records for vulnerable populations will be prioritized, followed by students and the general population.
Last year, the Chief Minister initiated the Swarna Naravaripalle project aimed at comprehensive regional development and improving residents' living standards.
A pilot project is being implemented in the panchayats of Rangampeta, Kandulavaripalle, and Chinnaramapuram, with a special officer assigned.
Development plans include ensuring access to safe drinking water for all households, enhancing drainage systems, and launching housing initiatives to provide homes for everyone.
He emphasized a focus on solar energy production and solar pumps under the Kusum scheme.
Furthermore, there is an emphasis on natural farming, which includes geo-tagging and certification, along with marketing support for natural farming products in Tirupati.
