Srinagar, July 29 (NationPress) Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, the General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-n-C) of the northern command, met with Jammu and Kashmir's Lieutenant Governor (L-G), Manoj Sinha, on Tuesday to provide an update on Operation Mahadev. This operation successfully resulted in the elimination of all three terrorists responsible for the tragic April 22 Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of 26 civilians.
The northern command, based in Udhampur, announced on X, "On July 28, a joint, coordinated, and extensive operation by the Army, J&K Police, and CRPF successfully neutralized three Pakistani terrorists implicated in the heinous Pahalgam attack."
The identified terrorists are Suleman Shah alias Faisal Jaat, Hamza Afghani, and Jibran Bhai.
From the site, the forces recovered two AK series rifles, one M4 rifle, and a substantial cache of ammunition and warlike supplies.
