Mumbai, June 17 (NationPress) Renowned rapper and musician Badshah humorously commented on being "banned" in certain cities while enjoying a getaway in the Maldives.
He shared several pictures on Instagram, showcasing moments from his holiday. The first image featured the “Kar Gayi Chull” artist relishing breakfast in a pool. A video displayed him engaging in beach volleyball with friends, while another photo showed him posing by a tree. The last image was a close-up selfie of the rapper.
In his caption, he playfully wrote: "We are just messing around… Getting banned in some cities… Getting tanned on some islands… @furaverimaldives #furaverimaldives @holidays2cherish #holidays2cherish #h2c #manymemories."
While he didn’t specify which cities he was referring to, it is worth noting that in April, Punjab Police had filed a complaint against him. This complaint was made by Emanual Masih, representing the Global Christian Action Committee, asserting that Badshah's new song had offended the religious sentiments of the Christian community.
The complaint alleged that the words 'church' and 'bible' in his recent track 'Velvet Flow' were used inappropriately.
