Mumbai, Oct 2 (NationPress) On this auspicious day of Dussehra, legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan conveyed a significant message that intertwines ancient philosophy with the essence of the celebration.
“May the triumph of good over evil be eternally cherished in our lives and in the lives of all humanity,” he expressed on his blog.
He further referenced the Chanakya Niti and emphasized that while goodness deserves recognition, it should be paired with carefulness.
“Chanakya was a wise counselor to the Kingdom of Chandragupta Maurya. He imparted wisdom that cautions us to be wary when we extend goodness to others. Blindly trusting everyone can lead to challenges over time. Good individuals often possess the flaw of trusting all and seeking the best in everyone. The concept of good overcoming evil has many interpretations,” he elaborated.
The icon then conveyed his wishes for a joyous Dussehra.
“May this Dussehra bring you all the happiness and joy you deserve. May it lead to prosperity, accolades, progress, and goodness for everyone… This might seem contradictory to Chanakya's teachings, but life is filled with such paradoxes. It is a pleasure to be part of Life's journey. Stay safe, cared for, and loved,” he continued.
Previously, he had shared his Navratri greetings on his blog, conveying a light-hearted sentiment about “trying to run ahead of time… metaphorically speaking.”
He stated: “Trying to run ahead of time... metaphorically of course... I am not a philosopher, poet, or scientist capable of achieving that, but I simply wanted to post the blog before things get hectic and late.”
Big B concluded with: “The Navratri festivities continue for nine to ten days, and may all the divine blessings be upon everyone, ensuring prosperity and tranquility in their lives.”
