Patna, Oct 29 (NationPress) The Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, delivered a fierce critique of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) on Wednesday, alleging that the party fosters a culture of "jungle raj" and criminal activities, while urging citizens to prioritize development in their voting choices.
While addressing a campaign rally in Raghunathpur, Siwan, CM Yogi emphasized that the forthcoming Bihar Assembly elections represent a pivotal contest between progress and those accountable for Bihar's "jungle raj".
He stated, "This election signifies a struggle against those who led to an identity crisis for Biharis prior to 2005. The double-engine governance under Nitish Kumar has restored Bihar's dignity nationally. Today, Biharis are respected nationwide due to the NDA's rule."
The UP CM accused the RJD of endorsing criminal figures by offering them election tickets.
Without naming individuals, he alluded to former RJD MP Mohammad Shahabuddin and his son Osama Shahab, who is contesting from Raghunathpur on an RJD ticket.
"The residents of Siwan are well aware of an acid attack incident that occurred during the RJD administration, orchestrated by a notorious Bahubali leader. Now, RJD has nominated his son for elections," CM Yogi remarked.
He drew comparisons between the RJD in Bihar and the Samajwadi Party (SP) in Uttar Pradesh, claiming both parties are "kin in advocating chaos".
"RJD instigated disorder in Bihar, while SP did the same in Uttar Pradesh. Nevertheless, the bulldozer in UP has targeted criminals supported by SP members. Only the NDA's double-engine government can tackle such elements," he asserted.
Shifting focus to the Ram Temple issue, he highlighted that opposition leaders once doubted the temple's construction, yet it was the NDA government that realized this long-awaited promise.
"The Ram Temple in Ayodhya has become a reality. Lord Ram, who endured in a hut for over 550 years, now resides in a magnificent temple erected under the NDA. Lalu Prasad Yadav committed the sin of halting the Ram Rath Yatra, but individuals like him couldn't impede our temple's construction," Yogi said.
He also revealed plans for a grand temple dedicated to Goddess Sita in Sitamarhi and a Ram–Janaki corridor worth Rs 6,100 crore connecting Ayodhya and Sitamarhi.
"They lay chadar on the mazar of Babar and Aurangzeb, while we advocate for Sanatan Dharma," he added.
CM Yogi also criticized the RJD's governance motto, stating: "Before 2005, their slogan was 'Sabka Saath par Apne Pariwar ka Vikas' (With all, but development for their own family). Our slogan is 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas'."
He urged the citizens of Siwan to avert the return of mafia influences and back NDA contenders Vikas Kumar Singh (Raghunathpur) and Vishnudev Paswan (Barauli).
The CM also mentioned Union Home Minister Amit Shah's vow to eradicate Naxalism and Maoism from India by 2026.
"We don't need CPI-ML; we require LJP(RV). Our vision is a crime-free Bihar where businesses can thrive, industrialists can invest, and our mothers and sisters can live without fear," he concluded.
