Patna, Nov 9 (NationPress) Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while campaigning in Bihar’s border district Araria on Sunday, alerted the public about the dangers posed by infiltrators ‘sneaking into’ the state. He emphasized the necessity of monitoring these individuals to thwart the Mahagathbandhan coalition's attempts to restore ‘jungle raj’ in the region.
Speaking to a large audience at Narpatganj High School Stadium, the UP CM criticized the grand alliance for deteriorating Bihar's conditions, asserting that 'puncture makers' are attempting to gain influence and hinder progress. His remarks are poised to stir fresh discussions in the electoral arena.
He cautioned against infiltration from border districts in Bihar, stating that Narpatganj must not become a “launching pad for infiltrators.”
In a sharp critique of the grand alliance, including the RJD and Congress, he accused them of creating chaos in the state, claiming that a land once known for producing numerous scholars and scientists has descended into darkness under the rule of mafias.
“Bihar, which contributed the esteemed Nalanda University to the world, has fallen into illiteracy and disorder due to the Congress-RJD alliance. This is the land of Aryabhatta, Chanakya, and Chandragupta Maurya, yet the Congress and RJD have tarnished this sacred ground through their support of mafias and promotion of caste divisions,” he stated.
He further noted that their governance had relegated Bihar to poverty, despite being a region that once heralded India’s golden age.
Sharing the growth model of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Minister asserted that mafias are being eradicated and their properties repurposed for the welfare of the poor. He accused the opposition of providing cover for criminals and mafias.
A senior leader from the BJP praised the Nitish-led government for its developmental initiatives, highlighting the advancements made in roads, electricity, drinking water, education, and healthcare since 2005, with acceleration in progress over the past 11 years under PM Modi's guidance.
Referring to the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya, he affirmed that the NDA delivers on its commitments and ridiculed the Mahagathbandhan for its perceived distance from Lord Ram.
Pointing out the 'transgressions' of the opposition, he mentioned that the Congress submitted an affidavit to the Supreme Court claiming that Ram never existed, the RJD halted the Rath Yatra, and the Samajwadi Party-led government in Uttar Pradesh opened fire on Lord Ram devotees.
The UP CM, appealing for votes for Devanti Yadav, the NDA candidate in Narpatganj, asserted that the Grand Alliance candidate's security deposit would be lost in the upcoming elections.
