Patna, Nov 20 (NationPress) On the day Nitish Kumar took the oath as Chief Minister of Bihar, the CMs of Uttarakhand and Madhya Pradesh conveyed their best wishes to the JD(U) leader. They emphasized that, under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, the double-engine government in Bihar is setting new benchmarks nationwide.
Pushkar Singh Dhami, Uttarakhand's Chief Minister, stated, "I offer my heartfelt congratulations. This double-engine government, under Modi's guidance, is paving the way for benchmarks throughout the nation. Bihar is witnessing significant development, and this trend will persist. Essential projects, including those for farmers, youth, and the public, will progress swiftly, with infrastructure projects like highways, airports, and railroads moving forward at an accelerated pace."
In a conversation with IANS, Mohan Yadav, Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, remarked, "A new cabinet has been established in Bihar. I extend my congratulations to the new Bihar Cabinet. Bihar is on a remarkable development trajectory, and I applaud everyone involved."
Keshav Prasad Maurya, Uttar Pradesh's Deputy Chief Minister, expressed, "Today marked a historic oath-taking ceremony in the presence of PM Modi. The people's mandate signifies that the double-engine government will operate with great urgency to meet all expectations."

Earlier, Nitish Kumar was sworn in as Bihar's Chief Minister, with Governor Arif Mohammad Khan administering the oath of office at Gandhi Maidan in Patna.
PM Modi arrived at Patna Airport around 11 a.m. and traveled straight to the venue by helicopter for the ceremony.
Nitish Kumar took the oath as Chief Minister for the tenth time at 11:30 a.m. His first term began in 2000, although it lasted only seven days. Since regaining power in 2005, he has been sworn in nine times, achieving this historic tenth swearing-in on Thursday.
This also marked the first occasion PM Modi attended Nitish Kumar's swearing-in ceremony.
Although Nitish Kumar has taken the oath five times since Modi became Prime Minister in 2014, he has governed under both the NDA and the Grand Alliance during this period.
