Jaipur, Sep 22 (NationPress) The Rajasthan BJP President, Madan Rathore, has recently criticized Congress leaders, including the former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, for allegedly exploiting the tragic murder of Udaipur tailor Kanhaiya Lal for political gain and spreading misleading information to the public.
Rathore asserted that while Congress resorts to propaganda, the BJP government, led by Bhajan Lal Sharma, is diligently focused on the welfare of all societal segments.
He stated, "During the Congress regime, there was rampant corruption, crime, and the influence of mafias associated with gravel and liquor. Now, as the BJP government operates with integrity, Congress perceives its political influence diminishing."
Rathore emphasized the BJP government's developmental efforts throughout Rajasthan, which include launching new medical colleges, community health centers, and primary health centers, as well as effectively implementing the Ayushman Bharat Yojana and the Chief Minister's Chiranjeevi Yojana. He highlighted timely farmer compensation and improved management of cow shelters and NREGA payments.
These initiatives, according to him, reflect the Rajasthan government's dedication to public welfare and transparency, setting it apart from the negligence of the previous Congress administration.
Regarding law and order in the state, Rathore indicated that the government has fortified systems to safeguard women and girls, introducing special squads, fast-track courts, and a 24-hour helpline.
He stated that strict measures are being enforced against criminals and paper leak mafias, with no political protection offered, in contrast to the previous Congress regime.
Rathore remarked, "BJP leaders, MLAs, and Ministers engage closely with the citizens, unlike the Opposition, which only creates confusion."
When addressing the Kanhaiya Lal murder case, Rathore criticized Congress for its inability to avert the Udaipur tailor's murder during its governance and for attempting to deflect blame onto Prime Minister Narendra Modi three years after the incident.
He stated, "Congress has historically been lenient toward terrorism and extremism, opting for policies of appeasement rather than delivering justice. The BJP and Prime Minister Modi uphold a zero-tolerance approach, and the public has recognized Congress' hypocrisy. "
He concluded by asserting that while the Opposition is preoccupied with political maneuvering, the BJP government remains committed to prioritizing development, public welfare, and safety throughout Rajasthan.
